Why do we hire people without experience?
Recently, we understood a formula that can be defined as: "if you want to get a good specialist, you should grow one by yourself." This is a time-proven method that has long been embedded into the very base of our corporate culture. The holding's team buys and sells surplus goods in Europe and the USA worth tens of thousands of euros on a daily basis: from spare parts for printers to auto parts and power tools. Considering the business' specificity, processes, and work with loyal customers from 50 countries, there is no opportunity to hire qualified managers. A similar situation has formed in the team that develops our IT system that is central to the work of the entire holding.
How does a specialist form? Our work is similar to sports: a rookie learns the theory, then does some basic exercises, gradually grows under the strict supervision of a trainer (manager), and starts to accomplish the plan. All this time, the person gets paid. As the employee grows, the load increases along with the payment – the size of the commission that is paid beyond salary. We take care of our employees and are interested in their success, which is why we have developed our own education program that became an effective symbiosis of theory and practice. Right now, we are at the stage of developing an online program that will allow us to train potential employees remotely.

Depending on the position, the training course takes from 4 to 8 weeks and includes the explanation of our business model, detailed studying of commodity item headings, B2B sales basics, the art of negotiating online and by phone, working with our system, and specifics of managing international payments. Besides the program, we arrange experience exchange sessions within the holding and send our colleagues to training in Moldova and abroad. And, for dessert, we arrange an internal business forum twice a year to share the accumulated experience and to support professional growth.

Any candidate that knows a European language (German, French, Spanish, Italian, English, Polish, etc.) on a medium level and a desire to achieve success can become a part of Grafit Holding. We are realists and we understand that there are almost no experienced individuals right after they graduate from the university, so we hire on the senior year or right after graduation. One of the projects working from 2 pm to 11 pm on the US market will allow combining the work with education, paying for lunch and taxi after each productive day.

We are convinced that having trained an employee from scratch we are going to get a good specialist that will decently represent Grafit Holding on the international level while earning good money at home. Moldova is a country of opportunities that shouldn't be missed.
